If you’re interested in voting early, you can find all the information you need here.
Early voting begins February 13th and runs until the March 3rd primary. You can download the Early Voting Schedule here. If you need to check your voter registration status or see a sample ballot, you can do that here. There’s also a sample included at the end of this post, but if you’re uncertain about which districts you are registered in you should search your record to be sure you’re looking at the correct sample ballot. If you’re not registered to vote, you can register to vote during early voting when you arrive at the poll. Voters may change their name or address at a one-stop voting site. For the North Carolina Democratic Primary, you do not need to have a photo I.D.
If you want to skip the wait, you can check out the length of the lines at various early voting sites on the Buncombe County website.
