Water Distribution

The City has now opened a new bottled water distribution site at Asheville Middle School in addition to the bulk water distribution still happening in front of City Hall. The City stil encourages people to bring their own containers to City Hall, but the City now has containers available for people who don’t have them.

The expectation is that there will be more sites starting tomorrow and that food will also start to be distributed at these sites. The City has also begun delivery of bottled water to vulnerable communities. If you know a community that needs a targeted delivery of water (elderly, people without cars, etc), please let me know and I’ll pass it on.

Buncombe County is also continuing its four distribution sites for water and food

William W. Estes Elementary School – 275 Overlook Road, Asheville

Sand Hill Elementary – 154 Sand Hill School Road, Asheville (Please enter via Acton Circle)

North Windy Ridge Intermediate School – 20 Doan Road, Weaverville

Fairview Elementary School – 1355 Charlotte Highway, Fairview
