Please feel free to join us on Saturday, January 4 for a swearing-in ceremony for the Buncombe General Assembly Democratic delegation.
I’m proud to be sworn in next to my colleagues Rep. Eric Ager, Rep. Lindsey Prather and Rep. Brian Turner. We would love for you to join us for the public ceremony along the Swannanoa
River across from the Asheville Recreation Park.
Following the event, we will speak briefly about our expectations for the upcoming
biennium in the General Assembly — focusing on the efforts to bring much needed funding to
Western North Carolina as we recover from Hurricane Helene.
This event will begin at 2pm and is expected to last around an hour. Parking will be at the intersection of Kensington Drive and Swannanoa River Road. Please see the map below for guidance.
I know I can speak for the entire Democratic delegation when I say that we are truly honored to continue our work serving the people of Buncombe County, and Western North Carolina as a whole, during this important time of rebuilding.
